Cherished Buildings

Cherished Buildings did our building work recently. Ricky and Ben are very thoughtful and made suggestions to optimise our project. Before they started the work, we altered the design based on Ricky’s advice, which proved to be better than our original design. A big thank you to Ben as he was always available to answer any questions we had. In the end we were very pleased to have a kitchen with plenty of space and an island we originally thought would be difficult to fit in if we followed the original design. During the whole project they always kept disturbances to the minimum and made our life convenient. The team are friendly, on time and kept the site tidy. We were recommended Cherished, and honestly, it was the best decision we’ve made for our house. They transformed a 2-bed, no bath to a beautiful en-suite + walk-in closet. Every woman’s dreams. From start to finish, we put our trust in Cherished, and they never gave us reason to doubt them. They showed up on time, got stuck in, worked the occasional weekend, and always left the space clean. They truly went above and beyond, and took pride in their work — like, you can see it with the finishing. A special shoutout to Ricky, what a guy! Anytime something unexpected popped up, he put his thinking cap on and found a solution that just worked. Every. Single. Time. Honestly, the man’s a wizard. We liked having the team around so much, that one project rolled into another, and another. Our garage was converted to a home gym, and backyard dump into an outdoor kitchen. & I’m sure it won’t be long before we call them back again. We couldn’t have been happier with Cherished. Ricky, Junior and crew made the impossible possible as we renovated our while keeping our schedule with our 10 month old baby. They were extremely discreet, tidy (to a degree I thought was impossible for the nature of the work) and responsive. Ricky was especially generous in brainstorming and proactively anticipating my some other areas in our house that are part of future renovation plans.

I absolutely recommend to work with Ricky and Junior! I worked with them to renovate my house as it wasn’t renovated in the last 40 years. They did absolutely everything and had been the perfect partner for me. During the renovation they always kept me up to date as I wasn’t in the country most of the time. Cherished Buildings helped us completely renovate our house which was in an unlivable condition when we bought it. Besides stripping down and renovating each room to a high standard, they helped with the plumbing, heating, rewiring, roof and chimney, insulation, replacing doors and windows, and reconfiguring internal walls. We could not have moved into the dream home we now have, without them. Ricky and Junior were professional, friendly, and transparent from beginning to end. We will absolutely be working with them again on an extension, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

When I first came across Cherished Buildings, I didn’t understand why a building company had chosen such brand identity, but now after concluding a 6 months double storey extension project, I can definitely tell this company really cares about their clients. Ricky and his team went above and beyond from day 1 to make us comfortable, safe and happy throughout the entire process. Ricky is responsible, a great leader and hands on professional that was present daily and overseeing all details. He communicates very frequently and is quick to reply regardless of the time of the day. The entire team was respectful, helpful and some worked during saturday and sunday, which really speed up the process. The team is always wearing uniform and Ricky does not bring unknown workers. Their entire plan for our project was based on ways to minimise the impact in our daily activities, for example setting up the kitchen and utility to be always available. And as I work from home, minimise the disruption was essential and they kept their promise. In addition, Ricky helps providing solutions to unexpected problems and was always available to discuss the details with us until a good solution was aligned. His company also has good partnerships with other companies which is helpful. The entire renovation was completed within the planned time and we couldn’t be happier with how the process was handled and the end result! You will be in good hands!
