Eley Projects Ltd

On the recommendation of a former employee, we contacted local building company Eley Projects. We were so glad we received this advice. From the very first contact we felt confident in owner Ben; he is a very personable, charismatic and honest guy. Our home improvement plan was to remove an old conservatory to be replaced by a brick-built, insulated extension to our home to create a small snug/garden room and an extension to the master bedroom that would double its size. We were concerned over the viability of the build as we have limited access to our home, including no rear access. From the very first site inspection, Ben assured us that all problems could be overcome and keeping to his word, used both his and the considerable experience and guile of the team to create solutions to problems and finish the work to an excellent standard. All this in spite of typically inclement winter weather! ‘Team Eley’ were very hardworking and professional throughout the build, treating us both respectfully and politely; our immediate neighbours were treated with the exact same courtesy. The result is that we now have much more usable space in our home. We loved living here before the build, now we love it even more thanks to the professionalism of Ben and all the members of his team. A great job completed; thank you all so much. Having had an extension and garage conversion by Ben, we didn’t hesitate to use him and his team again when we decided to have a new garage built. As before, they were extremely reliable and tidy and the finished garage is excellent. It sits really well next to the house and looks as though it was always meant to be there. Another brilliant job by Ben and his team. We would definitely use them again.

Ben and his team completed our extension and garage conversion to an extremely high standard and we are delighted with the result. The garage doesn’t look like a conversion as they often can - it looks as though it was always part of the house. Ben went to great lengths to make sure that the new brickwork matched well and overcame some difficult technical challenges with the new roof on the extension. It was clear that he really cared about getting every detail right. We are so pleased we chose Ben. Unlike some quotes that can seem low at first and then change later, Ben quoted realistically, stuck to the agreed price and there were no hidden surprises. The whole team were professional, reliable and always turned up when they said they would. They were also very tidy throughout and most importantly, the workmanship was first class. Ben and the team built our single storey extension during 2025. The project was finished on budget and in a timely manner. We were kept fully informed about what was happening and when. The site was kept extremely tidy with far less disruption than expected. The quality of the build is first rate. Thank you Ben, Ian and Scott. You all made the process enjoyable. We are loving our new room.

Very happy with Ben and the whole team he uses for their work. Top quality work and everyone that comes round compliments the work and craftsmanship. Don't expect fast and cheap with this company, every stage is talked through and ensured it is done correctly, so building control are satisfied without making any changes. Glad we had our extension done has been alot warmer and the space created.

Ben and his team converted half of our large garage into a study. They were professional and reliable throughout and we would definitely use Ben again if we needed building work doing. We had been worried whether the room would be warm enough but they did a great job insulating it and we've never had any problems - looks smart from the front too. Nice to have tradespeople you can trust to do a good job and deal with you honestly

We are so pleased with the end result. Ben and Ian have done an excellent job rebuilding the garage, which was in a pretty sorry state. They have been extremely considerate to our neighbours as the work involved erecting scaffolding on their property. Would highly recommend.
