We had HAL Construction come out to resolve a drainage issue at the front of our house, and we couldn’t be happier with the work they did. The original job involved digging two channels at the front of the house, installing soakaway crates, and connecting the channels to the crates. However, once Charlie and his team started work, they quickly identified an additional problem at the side of the house. Our guttering was discharging rainwater directly into the ground rather than into a proper drainage system, which was causing our driveway to sink slightly. Charlie explained the issue clearly and provided us with a quote for the additional work. We’re very glad we went ahead with it, as leaving the problem unresolved could potentially have resulted in a much more serious and expensive issue in a few years’ time. The whole job was completed on time and to budget. We received frequent updates throughout the work, and Charlie and his team were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. They were happy to answer all of our questions and took the time to address all of our concerns. We really appreciate the hard work they put in and the care they took with the job. It’s reassuring to know that the drainage around our house has now been properly dealt with. We would definitely recommend HAL Construction to anyone needing drainage or groundwork done. We are just coming to the end of a five week project with HAL Construction and I wanted to share what a fantastic experience we’ve had. Having renovated two houses, we have experienced our fair share of disappointing trades, so we genuinely feel we struck gold with this team. Charlie has been exceptional throughout. He communicates brilliantly, delivers exactly what he promises and couldn't have been more accommodating. Nothing ever seems to faze him! He's calm, organised and always happy to answer questions, no matter how big or small. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and has managed our project seamlessly from start to finish. A special mention also has to go to Mase. What an incredible young man. He is hardworking, polite, respectful and an absolute credit to the company. Our children are genuinely excited to see him arrive each morning and despite working tirelessly in the baking heat, he never failed to have a smile on his face. Every member of the team, from the builders and bricklayers to the plumber has been professional, friendly and taken real pride in their work. Having a team working in your home for five weeks during the summer holidays can be daunting, but they have been an absolute pleasure to have around. We genuinely couldn't recommend HAL Construction highly enough. From the beginning through to completion, the team managed every aspect of the project professionally and efficiently, including all construction works, M&E, electrical, plumbing, fire and security systems, and the full air conditioning installation. We needed a concrete base poured for a garage and HAL were brilliant. They arrived on time, set everything out properly, and the final result is perfectly level. Really professional service.
