We recently had the pleasure of working with Niall and his team from Madden Contracts on the renovation of our property in South Belfast, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. The project was extensive, involving knocking down walls, installing supporting steel beams, fitting new windows and doors, completely renovating the kitchen and bathroom, rewiring, replumbing, and full plastering and insulation throughout the house. From the outset, Niall’s communication was exceptional. He took the time to walk us through every aspect of the renovation, explaining the process in detail and answering all of our questions. His transparency and patience gave us complete confidence in the project, and we always felt informed and in control of the decisions being made. The workmanship displayed by Niall and his team was truly top-notch. Every element of the renovation was executed to the highest standard, with meticulous attention to detail. Niall and the team from Madden Contracts came recommended to us from the architect who drew the renovation plans for our 3 storey house in Ballyhackamore, East Belfast. The scope of work included a full house renovation and remodel, including removal of a chimney wall throughout the full house, remodel of kitchen, design and remodel of bathroom, fitting new downstairs WC, restoration work to brickwork including insulation and plaster, as well as installation of new reclaimed wood pergola and garden fence. From the first phone call, Niall was an absolute pleasure to work with - he was patient and very thorough, walking through our plans in detail, answering all our questions and ensuring we felt comfortable and confident throughout the whole process. His entire team that worked on the project were at all times, very professional, very friendly and very clean! You can’t underestimate how important these qualities are when you have builders in your home for several months. We added a number of additional elements onto the project from the initial quote, and Niall was extremely accommodating to changes from the initial scope of work, and at all times pricing was transparent and very well communicated. We’d always recommend Niall to anyone looking for a thorough, trust-worthy, reliable and exceptionally good Contractor for any home project.

Glad I did as Michael and team did a superb job on installing a privacy fence which was stepped down the gradient of the hill in equal sections, just as I had discussed with Niall. Michael chatted details through with me as he worked and did a great job. A skilled and experienced team.

Bespoke Pergola expertly built in half a day with battens designed and added separately taking a further half day. Great interaction thru design to completion and good value for the standard.
