Marley Building and Joinery were recommended by another local business and they have been a saviour after we were unfortunately let down by another joinery firm. Jim, John and the team went the extra mile for us to get our bay window completely finished ahead of the winter. They kept us posted through out. Cannot recommend highly enough. EXCELLENT COMPANY; HIGHEST LEVELS OF EXPERTISE; TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL AND TRUSTWORTHY. 100%+ RECOMMEND THEM. Eventually decided to take the plunge to knock down the 1 metre thick retaining wall and chimney breast between the kitchen and morning room in our Victorian house. Due to several excellent renovations over the years by Marley Building & Joinery, they were the only company we wanted to do the work. We were dreading the inevitable ‘muck, mess and disruption’ stage but this was kept to a minimum indeed the whole process was managed efficiently and effectively by John, Rob, Jordan and Jim. Communication between Marley B&J, the kitchen designer/Mowlem & Co.,Trades and us was the key to a successful project. Crucially the company coordinated everything and took every care to ensure no damage occurred. Every last detail was checked and double checked to eliminate any costly errors. They even: invented a method to secure the panels in place when laying the oak herringbone floor; designed and made bespoke glass widened wooden doors and large window; devised the least disruptive way to literally ‘slot’ the 5 RSJ steels in to support the roof. We experienced no stress and any problem was met with ‘don’t worry, we will take care of it’ and they did! including any later small snagging issues. I can’t praise the team highly enough for their whole demeanour, excellent skill levels and total professionalism… AND they are a damn fine bunch of guys to boot!

Excellent workmanship and service. Have had numerous jobs done by Marleys - sash window replacement, cupboards, double glazed French doors, all made by hand. Sensitive to period properties. Highly recommended.
