Plymouth Builders

A building firm in Plymouth is repeatedly described as turning up when it says it will and working quickly and efficiently through each task. Porcelain patio laying and the replacement of roof terrace surfaces with new decking and railings are among the jobs customers single out for their finish, with care taken over the details so the result came out right. Jamie Hicks and his team are named for a friendly, communicative manner, with calls answered and queries dealt with as they arose.

Reviewers frequently point to how straightforward the team is to deal with, combining professional conduct with helpful advice from the first conversation to the last. Handling other trades on a client's behalf is a point that comes up often, one account describing a roofing specialist brought in to re-cover a flat roof beneath new decking, sparing the customer that coordination.

A staged payment plan on a fencing project was welcomed as a practical arrangement for a client without the full funds upfront. The work described covers fencing, patios, decking, roofing and general building and construction, and the feedback indicates that customers return for further jobs. Reliability, clear communication and a tidy, well-managed site run through the accounts, with the same names and the same standards appearing across separate projects.
