Rise Construction Cardiff Ltd

Rise Construction Cardiff Ltd was formed in 2022. Jon Sainsbury is a co-director. The company employs 10 skilled professionals. The team has more than 100 years of combined construction experience. In 2025, the company welcomed its first apprentices in plumbing and carpentry. The company is affiliated with the LABC Partner Authority Scheme. The company is affiliated with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).

The company serves Cardiff, Penarth, Dinas Powys, Caerphilly and neighbouring communities. The company has completed projects for more than 200 homeowners and businesses. The company provides building services covering both residential and commercial projects, including house extensions, loft conversions, garage conversions, bathroom fitting, bespoke joinery, and landscaping.

Cardiff homeowners describe a broad mix of domestic building work, from bathroom upgrades and fitted front doors to a patio rebuilt at a Scout Hall and an urgent underground supply pipe leak. A consistent theme running through the feedback is the standard of the finished result, with structural alterations such as removing a structural wall and repositioning doorways singled out for particular praise.

Reviewers frequently point to reliability and punctuality, noting that the team arrived on agreed days and kept appointments without needing reminders. Communication is another point that comes up often, described as prompt, clear and reassuring from the first enquiry through to completion, and customers value the practical advice offered on preparation, planning and meeting building regulation requirements. Tidiness draws comment too, including the care taken to return plants to their original spots once work finished.

Named team members feature in several accounts: Jon Sainsbury is portrayed as organised, courteous and responsive to client needs, Gareth is credited with making and fitting a front door that reproduces an original design for the Rhiwbina garden village, and Jon alongside Chris is linked to the swift resolution of the supply pipe leak. Roofing and guttering work is noted as completed on schedule despite rain on the opening day.
