The Murrayfield Building Company Edinburgh

The Murrayfield Building Company is an Edinburgh-based builder serving Scotland. It specialises in home refurbishments, extensions, loft conversions and roofing. The company uses fully time-served workmen and provides a guarantee on completed work. It offers a one-stop shop service, handling everything from a kitchen to a complete house.

The company can generate plans and assist with planning permission through access to architects. Painting, decorating, tiling, and landscaping are provided as part of a full finish to contracts. Completed projects include garage conversions, cellar conversions, house rebuilds, a 4-room extension and a full house rebuild. Keith is a named individual associated with the company. The team tidies up and vacuums at the end of each day.

Households in Edinburgh seeking significant structural changes have turned to this construction company for projects ranging from a two-storey extension on a century-old property to a full kitchen remodelling that involved removing an internal wall and installing supports and flooring. Keith and his team also stripped out an ageing boiler, tank and heating system and fitted a replacement combi unit.

Reviewers repeatedly highlight the quality of the finished work, describing neat pipework completed to a high standard despite awkward access and a sympathetic approach to older buildings. Punctuality and reliability feature strongly, with teams arriving when scheduled and, in one instance, finishing ahead of time. Customers describe the workforce as polite, courteous, considerate, hardworking, flexible and professional throughout. Communication and willingness to adapt to complex designs are mentioned, as is the care taken over tricky installations.

The transformation of a kitchen and the successful completion of a large extension are cited as evidence of expertise and advice. Several accounts note that Keith and his team were friendly on site, and that the standard of workmanship matched the ambition of each project. The consistent theme is a smooth process from start to finish, with careful planning, tidy execution and a result that met or exceeded expectations.
