Turners carried out a kitchen extension for us to a very high standard and at a competitive price. It is always admired by visitors. They were at all times pleasant people to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Turners Construction handled the conversion to a kitchen diner expertly and excellently. This involved major construction work in removing a four stack chimney breast and widening the opening between dining room and sun-room and fitting glass doors. Having chosen Turners following a tender managed by our architect, Robert Allerton, we were impressed by the quality of the craftsmen employed and decided to widen the contract to include fitting the new kitchen, downstairs cloakroom and utility room as well as laying new floors. Murray Turner personally visited the site several times a week to check on progress and give direction to the workmen. Rubbish from the front was cleared regularly and Murray made several helpful suggestions which have proved most useful. Any additional works were always preceded by quotes and as a result the overall spend came in close to budget. We can thoroughly recommend Turner Construction for any works you are planning and would most certainly use them again.

Turners have just completed a transformation of my house, part future-proofing and part face-lift. They demolished the garage to provide step-free access at the side of the house, rebuilt the supporting walls in the front garden, installed a new set of steps, and clad the outside of the house with Hardiplank. The result has given me what looks like a new house! Cameron, Charles and Simon worked tirelessly through the summer heat, only interrupted by a supply issue. They were always cheerful and polite, and cleared up at the end of every day. Murray checked in regularly to explain the schedule. I highly recommend them.

Murray, Chris and their team (builders, plumbers, carpenters and electricians) have just completed the renovation of part of our garden, and the bottom two floors of our tall, narrow Victorian house — a project that came with some very real - perhaps unique - challenges. Because of the house’s position, the team couldn’t use a skip or heavy machinery. Instead, they dug out and carried away literally hundreds of bags of soil and rubble by hand as the job progressed. They also lifted and installed immense steel beams with absolute precision — all done with incredible care and professionalism. From start to finish, the team were friendly, polite, and respectful. They arrived on time every day, kept us updated with regular meetings, and always left the house as tidy as possible. Many thanks to Murray, who was so responsive to our calls and queries — always patient, always helpful, and often with a touch of humour that made the whole process so much easier. The attention to detail, quality of workmanship, and commitment to getting things right were clear throughout. The whole project was completed within the expected timeframe, and we had complete trust in the team at every stage.
