Warmer`s Loft conversions

Delighted with our loft conversion ( an en-suite bedroom). Quote considerably cheaper than others for exactly the same design. Chris is very knowledgeable re. regulations. He and Gary were professional, experienced, hard working and caring. Always ready to go the extra mile, coming out at night when needed due to incessant rain and wind disturbing covers. In spite of very inclement weather, all work completed on time with a tight deadline due to imminent arrival of sister from Australia. Excellent communication throughout process. Chris coordinated other workers - plasterer, electrician and plumber who were all very good. We felt very looked after during the process and are extremely pleased with the result. Thank you!

We were recommended to Warmers by friends and after viewing their conversion were happy to make contact for a consultation and quote. Chris came out to our home to measure up and talk us through the process/outline plan and provided clarity on what was and wasn't possible. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We knew we would have to wait to have our loft fitted by Warmers but were in no particular rush and happy to do so.........we are so glad we did!. Everything was covered off in detail from the payment arrangements to the expectations of who would be on site on what days and how the build itself would develop and progress. Although we were excited to see what was going on I was really happy to just leave Chris and his team to it and get on with the build.......they are the experts and we had total trust in them to deliver what we wanted. Everything progressed according to the plan and we were consulted the whole way through either by Chris or his equally hard working wife Sam who does a lot of the organising behind the scenes. The WhatsApp group that was set up was also a really useful tool for convenient communication and photos were also posted so we could see the build progressing through the stages. As the build came towards the end of the 6 weeks the C-19 virus became a new challenge and obstacle that none of us had envisaged! Chris and Sam worked frantically to ensure they could obtain all the materials needed to complete our project (suppliers were literally closing down by the day) and one or two changes had to be made but these were done with our complete knowledge and agreement and we were thankful for their sheer determination to deliver our project completion on time. The end result has given us exactly what we wanted and we are completely satisfied with our loft conversion and en-suite bathroom. We are absolutely happy to write this review and endorse the work of WLC not to mention the trustability of these guys to not only deliver your project but provide clear communication throughout the process. We had our loft conversion completed in September and are really pleased with the result. Chris is really great. Very professional and really knows his stuff. I was impressed how everything ran to schedule with deliveries arriving when they were needed, being installed straight away. The job started when they said it would and finished on schedule. Chris and Sam did a great job of keeping me informed what was happening when and when i needed to be doing something! And likewise, before the job started Sam did a great job of keeping in touch and checking we were still on schedule. She definitely makes all the difference as in the past I have found builders just 'go dark' and you hve no idea if they will turn up or if they do, when they will finish. It was a pleasure to have Chris and the team working here and we have had lots of positive comments about the work. My only downside is that they only do lofts!

We cannot thank Warmers Lofts enough. We had our loft extension carried out at the end of November 2018. Four and a half weeks later we had a new master bedroom with en-suite. The external work carried out was fantastic, changing our roof from a hip to gable end with a complete new roof installed. Chris worked out a bespoke staircase for us so we didn't have to lose any space off a bedroom. The workmanship of Warmers Lofts is by far one of the best I have ever seen, and I work in the construction trade too. Attention to detail was second to none. I cannot recommend Warmers Lofts enough, Thankyou Chris and Sam, our house is now complete and we love it

We are really impressed with the work that Chris and Gaz have done in converting our loft. Of the 4 quotes we obtained, Warmers were one of the most competitive and Chris was by far the most professional. He was really thorough and took time to discuss the options and provided us with a sketch of what we could expect. Chris is very knowledgeable and put a great deal of thought into providing us with a loft conversion perfect for our needs, incorporating our views and ideas along the way. We had much more input that we expected, even down to doors, skirting boards, spindles etc. Chris maximised space and even tried to build the loft to accommodate various furniture that we wanted (in terms of size and location). Having heard of some bad experiences from friends who have had loft conversions we were a bit apprehensive about going through the process. However, Chris, Gaz and Sam were reliable and hardworking and were friendly and fun to have around. They turned up early each morning and worked tirelessly every day. They minimised disruption and were respectful of our home and cleared up after themselves each day. The build was managed really well by Sam, who was friendly and easy to get hold of and ensured that we knew who to expect when. There was good coordination between the various tradesmen to ensure work wasn’t delayed. There were no hidden costs and the price we paid was the price we were quoted, bar a couple of optional extras that were clear from the offset. We are really pleased with the final result and would wholeheartedly recommend Warmers. In fact, after seeing our new loft and hearing about our experience with Warmers, our neighbours have just had them to convert their loft and some other friends of ours have also just booked them. Should we move and ever require another conversion in the future we would definitely use them again.

We approached Warmer's Loft Conversions after my wife found their website and seen their reviews. Luckily, they had recently completed a loft extension in Harborne, Birmingham only 200 metres away from where we live. They managed to arrange for us to visit the completed loft extension and we were very impressed with the result that they'd achieved. The home-owner told us that she had no reservations in recommending Chris and his team to us for our build. We are glad that we did. We found everyone at Warmer's Lofts to be professional, approachable and good humoured. The work was completed to a very high standard with Chris regularly checking that we were happy with the build as it progressed. Unlike some of our previous experiences with tradesmen, we never felt that the team were skimping or failing to work to the highest standard possible. Ensuring good communication is probably one of the reasons that their ratings are 5 star! Every part of the work that they did for us was completed with good humour and a sense of pride in their work. Attention to detail was clear! Warmer's also go beyond the call of duty, offering options and ideas that you won't necessarily have even considered and helping to smooth problems that become apparent as work proceeds, without fuss. Even our neighbours have complimented us on our finished loft-conversion and the quality of the work. They'd admitted that they'd be concerned as to how their view might change, but they felt the new part of our house was better looking than they could have imagined. Some told us that they wished they'd used Warmer's for their own loft-extensions and they're builders too! We would highly recommend Warmers Lofts to anyone who wants more space in their home. They've left us with the benefits of a well made, well insulated, solidly constructed and beautiful addition to our home. The team at Warmer's Lofts have recently finished our loft conversion and to say they have done a stunning job would still be a complete understatement. We were not convinced by previous companies or quotes that we had received prior to Chris arriving on a Sunday to carry out a very thorough measurement exercise and was able to give us two quotes (depending on which materials we chose) straight away. His thoroughness even at that stage was meticulous. After which, there was no question of who we wanted to go with. Sam kept in regular communication with us and we finally got the go ahead to start just before a weekend in December and before we knew it, the scaffolding was up the following Monday. Dave and his team began work and we hardly knew they were there. Working tirelessly in some awful weather conditions, they made incredible progress and before we knew it, Dave informed us our stairs would be going in. As Chris originally mentioned, this would be a sign that work would be nearly done. Dave's co-ordination with his team of plumbers, electricians and plasterers was amazing, every one in and out having done their work incredibly quickly. Ultimately we are now decorating and looking forward to moving into our huge new loft bedroom with en-suite in the very near future.
