We had a fantastic experience with Wallace when they converted our loft to a home office / spare bedroom this summer. Wallace built our loft extension this year and we can honestly say we would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone considering a renovation project! The level of professionalism was clear from the outset - they were positive, careful, calm, tidy, hardworking, organised, knowledgeable and reassuring (as well as being personable and funny!). The project went smoothly and at no stage did we feel like it had stalled or that we were waiting for anything. They kept us in the loop every step of the way and also went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly as we had asked. They also made honest recommendations and gave fantastic advice along the way. In addition, every tradesperson they brought in on our behalf was excellent too. As the project went on, we felt like Dan and Oli had become part of our family and we missed them so much when they left (still do!). The team from Wallace provided a great quality project for us and just as importantly, provided an exemplary service. Each day the work area and all areas adjacent were left clean, tidy and in a safe state. We had a few unexpected issues on our project (none of which were caused by or as a result of Wallace’s work) which they dealt with them in a helpful, professional manner. Wallace build undertook a stunning loft conversion and first floor extension on our 1900s property in Cottenham Cambridgeshire. They took great care from start to finish, they was extremely communicative with amazing attention to detail. From Nick’s first visit to discuss options & quote , to Jak starting the work & conquering any problems arising, giving us up-to date updates and efficiently of sorting any of issues. Not to forget Dan & Oli finishing everything internally & externally. The guys are all brilliant, super friendly & super efficient in terms of getting work done! All the sub-contractors behaved as Wallace did, super efficient, friendly, courteous & too super high standards. My partner was most worried about having builders in our home for months and not feeling comfortable, but we can confidently say, my self, my partner and our children enjoyed them working and we felt at ease knowing it was them working on our home and doing a great job! I would not hesitate to reccomend Wallace build and we can’t wait to have them back to do our downstairs extension.

Dan Wallace and his team built a loft conversion and ground floor extension at our property in 2020. The overall experience was excellent, and the quality of the work was at the promised high standard. Out of five quotes theirs was mid-range. A 12-week time plan for all the works was provided in advance, together with a payment schedule. In spite of us throwing lots of extra requests and additional work at the team, they finished well in time and also stuck to the budget. Communication with team leader Dan was excellent throughout the project (and beyond). Several years later, we are still very happy and would warmly recommend this company. Our experience was indeed very good and we would always consider them for any future building or refurbishment project.
