Initially, we really knew that Chris Rust was the right builder for us because of his enthusiasm, creativity, and vision. He was just as excited about the design as we were, and from the very beginning he brought ideas and inspiration that helped bring our plans to life. Throughout the project, Chris's timekeeping was impeccable, and his professionalism was evident every step of the way. Both he and his team were a pleasure to have around—friendly, respectful, hardworking, and always approachable. We trusted Chris completely, both with the build itself and financially. The quality of workmanship and communication were outstanding. We couldn't be happier with the final result. Chris transformed our vision into reality and we would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, talented, and trustworthy builder.

We nominated Chris to be our builder of a side extension to our house, after receiving numerous quotes, Chris blew us away from day one. His detailed breakdown of scheduling, comprehensive list of materials, project management of tradesmen, attention to detail, was second to none. Clear, transparent, and concise information throughout, respectful and cleared up after themselves each day, knockdown of a wall between kitchen and dining room, installation of kitchen, removal of the garage, I would not hesitate to recommend Chris and his Team for another build. We cannot recommend Chris Rust Construction highly enough. Chris is a hard working, genuine and reliable builder. We came across Chris when we were looking for a contractor to fit out a shower block at our new Glamping site. The whole process was well managed, keeping us updated with progress, challenges and timings. The quality of work was second to none with countless guests highlighting ‘the best toilet & shower facilities’ they had ever been to! We were that impressed that we commissioned Chris for two further projects at our property - a 2 bed stable block conversion and then a large utility and kitchen-diner extension. Again, Chris managed both projects extremely well, always keeping us up to date and the quality of work was excellent. An additional shout out to one of his team - big Sam who was super hard working, polite and considerate. We have sadly now moved back to Bath, so won’t be able to use Chris again but happy to share our feedback if anyone would like further insight.

Being able to get Chris to manage and build our extension was brilliant! This was our first venture into an extension and Chris made the process as easy as possible for us. Chris examined the requirements, building plans etc., and came up with a manageable plan, with minimal fuss and disruption for us. Chris's professional, organisational and communication skills ensured that with his friendly, skilled core team and contractors etc., schedule, requirements and cost were maintained. We have used Chris Rust Construction over many years for a number of significant developments on our house and garden. The best recommendation for any builder must be repeat customers and we certainly attest to that. Chris keeps his core team to a minimum allowing him to employ the very best people and his wide network of high quality tradesmen from brickies to roofers allows him to flex his team to meet the needs of each project. He rarely has more than one project on the go at any one time which ensures he is always on-site, hands-on and overseeing progress and quality. Chris manages the relationship with Building Control and has a good relationship with the council officers. He can work under the Design Authority of your chosen architect or, as in our case, he can work with the home owner if they have produced their own designs. The flexibility of this latter arrangement is what make Chris Rust Construction our first choice.

Chris recently carried out some structural work for us, this was our first experience having major work done and he made it simple and stress free. He answered all of our questions honestly and kept us informed of what was happening at each stage. I would definitely recommend Chris for any building work and would certainly use him in the future.
