They were incredibly attentive, detail-oriented, and made sure we felt involved and informed at every stage of the project. They took the time to listen to what my wife and I wanted, offered helpful advice, and worked closely with us throughout the entire process to make sure everything was exactly right. The quality of the workmanship is excellent, and it’s clear they take real pride in what they do. One thing that really stood out was how tidy and respectful they were in our home — they worked hard to clean up at the end of every day, which made a big difference while the work was ongoing in a house with 2 young kids. We’re absolutely delighted with our new space and would highly recommend Extra Space Developments to anyone considering a loft conversion. Extra Space Developments worked on our loft conversion from September to December 2025 and we have nothing but praise for their work. They were a pleasure to deal with, highly professional in all their activities, prompt and hardworking, were happy to accommodate small changes and additions to the build, and always tidied up at the end of each day. Wow, wow, wow.!!! Went into this project only ever having minor works, like bathrooms and kitchens, done before, so a little nervous to take on such a massive overhaul. As soon as we had our initial meeting with Shane, we knew we’d picked the right people and they certainly didn’t disappoint. We went from never even opening the hatch to our loft (other than getting rid of a wasps`nest) but always hoping, one day, we’d be able to make it a dream bedroom. Fast forward to now living in the most amazingly beautiful space we could only have dreamed of with two extra bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dressing area. The whole team are just incredible. We made tweaks and, at times, major changes as we went along but nothing was too much to ask. Everyone who worked here was wonderful. Nikki, Shane, Martin, Mark, Kain, Max& Josh we miss you being around and hoovering our house every day - please come back ☺️. Plumber Sam, Ian & Ash plasterers, tiler Mike were added bonuses of professionalism. Wake up grateful every day for the space we have been given. Even miss making you drinks & bacon sandwiches. If you are looking for lovely people who really know their stuff and will do work to the highest standard, look no further. These guys are amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!!

Extra Space Developments Ltd have just completed our loft conversion to give us an extra two bedrooms and a bathroom. We had to have our whole roof removed then raised, which was a scary prospect but thankfully Shane and Nik knew what they were doing and have totally transformed our house. From our initial conversations with Shane to the last day on site, the guys were friendly and professional throughout. Martin is brilliant, super knowledgable and gave us useful guidance and support. Martin and Josh are an amazing team and worked tirelessly on some of hottest days of the year. The standard of work is incredibly high and we had no issues with anything the guys did. Martin kept us well informed throughout and almost became one of the family for 3 months. All our neighbours have complemented how the guys never made much noise, were considerate at parking in the street and were friendly. The guys were tidy and left the site clean every day. Poor old Henry the vacuum! We would have no hesitation recommending Extra Space Developments Ltd to anyone and I’m already looking at what projects we can have Shane quote for next.

After getting a couple of quotes from builders that either over quoted or simply didn't really know the best way of doing the job we then got in contact with Shane at Extra Space Developments, who was recommended to us from a previous customer. Professional from the outset and extremely knowledgeable, Shane answered all of our questions and made it very easy for us to make the decision. The whole team was extremely polite, (special shout out to Adrian - both children constantly asking me when Adrian is coming back and our dog Bailey has never been so spoilt, he's an absolute grafter as well💪) courteous and catered for our needs, especially when I was working night shifts. They were constantly on the go and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We had our problems with some neighbours along the way but the guys dealt with it professionally. All in all a great experience and an extremely high quality finish, we have 2 young children and it has given us such a great space to watch films together as a family. P.S. You will definitely need more tea bags than you think. 😁😁 5 star highly recommended.
