King & Company - The Green Builders

We live in a barn conversion, and were nervous of having an extension that would not look right, however King and co of Norfolk worked as a very professional team above and beyond to achieve an exceptional build. It is a unique, stylish and appropriate addition to our home built by caring and skilled craftspeople, happy to deal with the various challenges presented along the way - sometimes by us if we suddenly 'had a little idea'. The result is outstanding, thanks to King and Co Norfolk.

King and Co took on a large renovation for us transforming an old bungalow into our dream home over 9 months. The change is incredible and we couldn't be happier. Challenges (like all projects) were dealt with and I must commend King and Co for their enthusiasm, professionalism and most importantly attention to detail to give us everything we asked for and more. Well done King and Co and thank you for achieving our Grand Design!

King & Co helped me turn an empty plot of land into my dream home in little more than a year. Working with a timber frame supplier I had chosen, James and his team took control of every stage of the build from breaking ground to completion. They managed the project efficiently and in a helpful, friendly manner using quality craftsmen and kept me updated at all times. They worked to resolve any issues as they arose with speed, creativity and attention to detail. A major defect that was the fault of one of their suppliers took longer to resolve than I would have liked, but James and Ella persevered to get it fixed. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. We renovated an old farmhouse kitchen and larder. King & Co did a fantastic job helping us think through design, and then delivering on the job - all the team and trades we had in were great, really cared about quality, delivered on time, and were a pleasure to deal with day-to-day - as we were living in the house when work was going on. Would highly recommend, especially for high quality finish and sensitivity to old property.

Our overall experience with King & Co has been extremely positive. From start to finish we found Robert and his team; Mark, Ian, Stuart, Geoff and Danny very professional, extremely polite and very tidy. Clearly the team have years of experience and this is reflected in the high standard of work and dedication. The project was completed ahead of our anticipated schedule and the final costs bang on budget.

King & Co carried out two projects for Norfolk Community Law Service in 2025. The first was to prepared and set out our new office on Duke Street, which involved reconfiguring a ground floor, adding in interview rooms, raising a floor and removing an internal slide! We also contracted them to spruce up our old office on Prince of Wales Road. They did a fantastic job on both, we're always happy to answer our questions and both offices look fantastic as a result. We wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

We are delighted with our new garden room and link corridor. James King was very supportive and understanding of what we wished to achieve. The work was done to a very good standard. The project did take longer than we had expected but this was due to a variety of issues. Ella and the team were helpful and courteous and the subcontractors were good craftsmen. All in all, we are pleased with the end result and would definitely use James King again for future building needs at our old property.
