We are very happy to recommend Latham Builders. They have done two projects for us - repairing / re-tiling part of our roof and hard landscaping at the front of our home. Phil Latham is extremely helpful and responsive. It is clear that he has high standards and he keeps a close eye on everything which is very reassuring. Definitely five stars!

Latham Builders built an extension and remodelled our entire house in Cambridge – an the result is extraordinary. Phil Latham, the owner, was on top of every detail and on site every day: he really cares, and has both the hands-on experience for every bit of the job and the high-level perspective to plan ahead and coordinate, exhibiting top leadership skills. Our house won a prize from LABC East Anglia for best extension, and Phil's hand is all over it, with his outstanding knowledge of steel structure and brick laying, coordination and staying on top of various trades supplying heating, floors, electrical, bathrooms, windows, kitchens, cabinets and more, and above all, an exceptional attention to detail for a quality finish that made a 100-year-old Edwardian house look brand new. Friendly, down to earth, involved, and very experienced, we would repeat 100%.

Phil and his guys did a beautiful job replacing our front wall in Romsey and renovating the front garden with carefully sourced tradtional materials . They also fixed some brickwork and paving in back garden. All work was to a very high standard , Phil and everyone always reliable and lovely to deal with. I would heartily recommend Lathams. They extended and re-modelled our house and throughout we found them (and Phil especially) to be a pleasure to deal with. They were communicative and polite and went out of their way to maintain good relations with our neighbours. As an architect I had high expectations for the project and I was pleased with the quality of Lathams work and the whole process of working with them was a pleasure. I would certainly use them again without hesitation.

Phil Latham did a complete remodelling of my house. The work was very high quality throughout. Some of this I could see for myself, some of it I only learnt about afterwards when my architect pointed how carefully it had been done. The attention to detail and the craft of it all were fantastic. Also, some feedback from my neighbour, who he said "Your builders are all really nice people". Always good to have your neighbours on side, for something as major as this!

Phil and his team have just completed a major remodelling of our house, and we are absolutely delighted with their work. The finish and attention to detail is really excellent, and the work was all undertaken safely and (nearly) on time despite lockdown and Covid. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
