Limewood Builders South Limited

Hilsea customers who have commissioned Limewood Builders South Limited describe a firm that handles extensions, kitchens, bathrooms and structural alterations with equal care. Several reviewers highlight how the company rebuilt an extension after a previous builder left it in a poor state, with Ian and his team correcting each problem and finishing to a high standard.

A point that comes up often is the quality of communication, from the first estimate through to liaison with the council over planning, which customers characterise as a one-stop arrangement. Several accounts note punctuality and reliability, noting projects completed on schedule and work areas left clean with floors and furniture protected during decorating.

The scope of work described includes removing an internal wall and a disused chimney, installing a full kitchen with floor joist repairs, fitting a shower room, converting an open-plan kitchen and dining space with a utility and cloakroom, and carrying out a cellar refurbishment at a public house, including a sump pump to address flooding. Customers also praise the practical advice offered on colour choices and cost savings, along with fair, competitive pricing. Politeness and tidiness on site recur, and the firm's handling of commercial premises such as a clinic is noted alongside domestic projects.
