MS-BUILDERS House Extensions and Refurbishment

As a qualified building surveyor (retired) in Chiswick for over thirty years I have met, appreciated and disliked many builders over the years. I spent months on due diligence before embarking on a full house refurbishment with basement and swimming pool. Despite my best efforts the builder I chose turned out to be stereotypical and the relationship soon soured to a point where I ask the firm to leave my site whilst still owing my money. Amongst the disaster, stress and loss only one good thing transpired. Matt, the foreman on our site. A man who not only knew his trade but also had a huge moral compass. He and he alone embraced the task in hand and wasn’t going to leave us high and dry. We agreed terms to complete the works and the project passed building control and my wife’s seal of approval with no complications. I have recommended Matt to many clients from that day and have not received any negative feedback on his pricing, attitude or the quality of his work. Whether its just to replace a bathroom, basement or full refurbishment I have absolutely no reservations in recommending him. He is yet to master the English language which might frighten some however his technical knowledge is as good as any. It is very easy to give references to tradesmen when things go very well however this reference is special… Matt was on site when things went wrong with his previous boss and he was entirely responsible for getting the project finished. I will continue to recommend him at every opportunity. I wish him every success in everything he does and I am delighted to consider his as a friend. I shall never forget his ability and good heart. My house is also open to any of his potential clients to see his truly excellent work.

Matt and his team of builders have been fantastic! They have completely renovated my new house, including: installing a new ground floor shower room; reconfiguring the attic bedroom and installing a new shower room: installing a new boiler, hot water tank, plumbing and central heating throughout the house; installing new electrics throughout the house: laying new flooring throughout the ground floor and attic; relocating the soil pipe from inside to outside the house; and decorating throughout. Matt and his team are honest and trustworthy, their timekeeping is good and they always turned up when they said they would. I can't recommend them enough.

I found MS-Builders by researching on the internet for local companies that, as well as building, would carry out a complete refurbishment of our Victorian house. I have hired various contractors over the years and have sometimes been unsure I made the right choice, but not this time. Matt not only runs the company but manages the project as well as doing a lot of the work himself, so having him on site all the time means that any problems are quickly resolved. He has a good team around him - labourers, electricians, plumbers, decorators etc. all good-humoured and hard-working. Our project included installing new bathrooms, tiling, roofing, decorating throughout, carpentry, new lighting and numerous small jobs that were never too much trouble. Matt has very high standards and encourages dialogue to make sure his clients are happy with his work. He also has enormous patience. When I changed my mind about a new bath he had just installed he was happy to take it all out and start again, handling the change calmly and professionally. I have no hesitation in highly recommending MS-Builders, but get in quick as they are in great demand.

I employed MS builders to renovate my flat after they had made an outstandingly good job of my daughter’s ground floor extension in Hammersmith. They were so patient, careful and helpful, especially with the appallingly bad Hammersmith and Fulham council who changed their minds about permissions on a regular basis. I’ve not been disappointed, the quality of their work is exceptionally good, real care and attention is put into every aspect. Their price was not expensive for the quality. You might get cheaper but you won’t get better. 100% would use them again

We are very happy with MS Builders. We had an existing conservatory demolished and a rear extension built and it was just as agreed. Matt was professional and reliable, we agreed everything upfront and were consulted along the way to ensure everything was built to our specifications. Matt and his team installed and fitted our kitchen. We undertook a renovation project and we needed Matt to install new plumbing, electrics as well as boarding and plastering prior to fitting the kitchen. We are incredibly happy with our new kitchen and the level of workmanship from Matt his team. Matt always had a solution for any issues that came up along the way and kept us updated and discussed practicalities with us so we understood.
