We have recently a completed a complex upgrade to a “Pilcher style” bungalow with PBS York Ltd, managed by Project Manager James and his team of very capable building specialists. We have completed on time and to budget and it has delivered on our aspirations and expectations for a comfortable and high specification bungalow for our retirement. We strongly endorse PBS York Ltd and will be returning to them for any future building and landscaping requirements.

PBS York Limited have been nothing short of exceptional throughout the entire build of my house extension in Pocklington. From start to finish, the experience has been first class, and that is down in no small part to James and his outstanding team. James’ customer service and engagement are genuinely first class. James and his team built us a really smart patio with a Wheelchair access ramp and stone wall surround . The attention to detail was excellent James makes sure everything is done to a high standard the team are very approachable with any questions It was a pleasure to have PBS for the build would highly recommend .

PBS York Ltd did our kitchen extension and a new office space, and it has genuinely changed the way we use the house. The finished build is excellent and we are absolutely delighted with it. James project managed the whole job brilliantly. Communication was clear, decisions were handled calmly, and we always knew where we stood. The attention to detail really stood out. We loved the little touches, like the rounded internal corner that softens the room, and the beautiful dog tooth brickwork course above the bifold doors. It mirrors the original Victorian brickwork and is finished neatly with lead flashing, so it feels like it has always belonged. Importantly, everything James originally quoted for came in on budget. We did spend more overall, but that was purely down to extras we chose to add along the way. Each addition was discussed and priced clearly in advance, so there were no surprises. If you want a team you can trust to deliver a high quality result with solid project management, PBS York Ltd are a safe pair of hands.

Having had James and the team convert our garage into a huge kitchen last year, they also installed some internal folding doors with it. During the summer we didn't use the doors so much and when we closed them a couple of weeks ago, they had come off the track. After just one call to James, he made arrangements for a joiner to come out to us, who arrived promptly a couple of days later, as arranged, and within an hour the job was done!! Also no extra price! We have used James and his team for a variety of work and we will always go back to him for anything else we decide to do, thank you again for all your work James!! 😊
