Ben and Emma built us a beautiful loft bedroom and ensuite. They were a delight to work with start to finish. Great attention to detail, clear communication and the team were tidy and considerate throughout the build. They kept to timelines and the price was excellent value. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we have done a major homework with Ben, Emma and team. First time was our loft, this time a ground floor renovation and extension. Once again, we are very happy with the work. We find Ben and Emma very easy to communicate with, the work is done to a high standard. We lived at the house through most of the works, and the team were very patient working around us. Ben was always quick to respond to questions I had about the build and resolve any issues. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Finding trustworthy reputable tradesmen has been challenging up until I came across affordable lofts! From the beginning Emma was super helpful and answered any queries we had in a timely manner! Which made them stand out as others just weren’t replying or if they did it would be a week later! Ben and team did a fantastic job on our roof! The work is of a very high standard and since they have finished I keep noticing new things where the attention to detail is second to none! I wouldn’t hesitate to get them back to do more work which we are planning! I don’t really write reviews, this is my second one and it’s because I am extremely pleased with the work carried out. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ben and the team to others .

Affordable lofts are an outstanding building company. From the very first emails exchanged with Emma and first meeting with Ben, their level of organisation, communication and professionalism made them stand out from other building companies and that level was sustained throughout my loft conversion which was delivered on time and within budget. As a single parent running my own businesses I needed a company who would manage every detail making it as stress free and smooth as possible and I found that with Affordable Lofts. They were finished at my house within 10 weeks, compared to my friend in London whose loft took 6 months due to errors and delays. There were no delays because everything is managed so well. In terms of the quote, my builder friend could not believe what was included within the price, I essentially had a whole new roof, it was brilliant value. The team are also lovely, Ben is such a talented builder and Tom and Jack and his wider team are also great. The team did the work in January and February and turned up on time the first day and rarely missed a day until they finished working through minus zero temperatures. Even my neighbours commented how great they were. The combination of Emma doing admin and Ben doing the building side is a winning combination. Ben also goes the extra mile to make sure you're happy like going out and swapping a colour grout for my tiles when we realised that would look better on the day. When you hear so many horror stories about builders, I felt so lucky to have found these guys. I just need to save for my kitchen extension to use them again now!

Ben and the team at Affordable Lofts have been brilliant from start to finish. We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen! Emma has kept us informed from day 1 with scheduling the start date and gaining any info she needed from us. We were informed of our payment schedule before work commenced so we knew exactly what we were paying and when. Ben and the team on site have been friendly and polite and nothing seems like too much trouble. We had some issues with the delivery of our kitchen units which caused unexpected delays however, Ben and the team took it in their stride which definitely helped to stop my unnecessary panic! Their project management and communication is excellent. Building work is disruptive at the best of times, but the team left everything as tidy and mess free as possible throughout to minimise disruption for us. We cannot recommend them highly enough!
