I cannot recommend this team highly enough. They just finished our extension and did an absolutely brilliant job. Their workmanship is of the highest quality. They are professional, reliable, friendly, and incredibly well-mannered. Already recommending them to all my friends!

I requested a quotation from AGG for the construction of a boundary wall measuring approximately 7 metres in length, 1.65 metres in height, and 325mm in width. The specification was for a concrete block wall with a rendered finish. Prior to approaching AGG, I had obtained quotations from several reputable firms listed on the Edinburgh Trusted Trader scheme. These quotations ranged from approximately £9,000 to £16,000. The estimated cost of materials was around £3,000, and I was advised the work would take approximately four days to complete. AGG quoted £36,995.31, which I consider to be an egregiously excessive sum. I would not recommend this firm.

AGG completed a full renovation of our apartment which involved structural works. The team are incredibly hard working, courteous and have a high attention to detail. AGG Builders did a great job replacing my dining room ceiling ; a very messy job. They arrived promptly and were professional and courteous in their approach. I was concerned about my furniture and belongings in the surrounding area but they made sure everything throughout was well protected. The work was completed ahead of schedule and everything was meticulously cleaned up afterwards. I would thoroughly recommend this Company for your building work requirements.

AGG came in after we had been badly let down during a full flat refurbishment by other businesses. From the moment Andrea assessed the project the pressure of the previous few months was lifted. He inspired confidence with his calm, methodical and reassuring manner. It was a tricky job for AGG as others had left the flat unsafe and in a mess and we were so grateful that they were willing to step in. The AGG team are all highly professional and their work is of the highest standard and quality. There is nothing that is too much trouble for them, however small and their customer care is second to none. Andrea's communication and support throughout the project was excellent. He was always available, kept us up to date on progress and ensured the work was completed within the timescale. His team clearly have huge respect for him. Without hesitation I would strongly recommend AGG to anyone looking to get building or refurbishment work done. They are quite simply an outstanding and trustworthy business, which is an increasingly rare thing these days.

We had a rasied deck built on a steep slope which required clearing and moving tons of earth, followed by foundation work, constructing the deck+stairs, and included a structural opening. AGG Builders were fantastic from start to finish. Andrea, Pashk, Daria and the whole team exemplify professionalism — from their excellent communication and attention to detail, to their commitment to do things properly. We especially appreciated their detailed quote and clear itemised bills showing progress across all aspects of the work. The team were so polite and respectful, and incredibly hard working. They answered all our questions quickly, and explained why things had to be done to make sure we were well informed the entire build. Just a wonderful team to have work on your project!

You may get a cheaper quote somewhere else, but if you want the job done by a team who genuinely want to do the best job possible and also know what they are doing, you really should get AGG. One example- in the shower room, they spent a lot of effort to mitre the tiles as it produces a much better finish. The attention to detail was impressive throughout the whole job, they answered queries straight away and offered ideas to enhance the end product. The whole team are friendly and respectful, it was a pleasure having them and we will definitely use them again.
