GB Building North East Limited

GB building north east were really good to work with. Small group of lads who worked hard through some very horrible weather earlier this year. Turned up when they said they were going to and responsive to sorting out issues when we raised them. They made a couple of small but necessary changes from the plans which made the new converted room a better shape. Big thank you to Paul and Steve.

Steve, Paul and the Team did a fabulous job on our single storey extension in Whitley Bay. The work was done to a high standard with neighbours talking up the look of the job and particularly how the brick is cut into the existing brickwork to look seamless. Steve was flexible as our requirements changed slightly during the job and even used his carpentry skills to build a Media Wall late in the work. In short we love it.

We originally had Steve and Paul in to do our garage conversion, we were so happy with the work done we went on to have them do our kitchen extension. It's perfect, exactly what we wanted. Very professional and adapted to any changes that came up, including us asking them to build us a media wall, which they did ⭐ 5 stars from us.

From the first meeting to the completed build Paul and Steve were fantastic. Their ideas, input and knowledge was first class, they made us feel very involved and nothing was ever a hassle for them. We loved that they cover the whole service from planning to building to interior fittings. Any small issues that were encountered along the way were dealt with quickly, expertly and without any problem. Both Paul and Steve were very knowledgable and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had in mind what we would like for the extension and GB building delivered more than what we could have hoped for. We are so pleased with the finished build and are enjoying having the extra space. As well as Steve and Paul, the rest of the staff were amazing. So friendly , polite and respectful and again nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Even neighbours commented on how professional, tidy and pleasant all of the GB building team were. The team at GB Building were honest, hard working, professional and tidy, with a very fair and competitive quote. We would,and indeed have already, recommended GB building to family and friends and will definitely be calling them again next time we are looking for some building work carried out. I appointed GB Building North East Ltd to carry out a major overhaul of my property ( A bungalow which was in a need of modernisation and improvement). After looking at my options, and receiving several quotes from a few builders I chose to put my trust with these builders and I am so glad we did.There quote was thorough competitive and realistic. From start to finish, these lads gave it their all from the initial planning, preparation, ground work to completion, with great enthusiasm drive and motivation to complete the job to such a high standard. They organised all the different trades people to come in at the appropriate times, thus assuring that it all ran smoothly and precisely. Communication was robust and rigorous throughout the entire project. This was one of my major concerns, but it turned out I had nothing to worry about. The price I was quoted had no hidden extras, any additional work that was required was discussed with my wife and myself and carried out at an agreed price. Paul, Steve and Andy and the rest of the team were very approachable and in our opinion were true perfectionists to the bitter end. The advice we were offered was very much appreciated and received with thanks, as these lads have some inspirational ideas that we would not have thought of. Both my wife and myself are delighted with the end result and are now enjoying sharing our new home with all our family and friends that are all totally dumbstruck by the transformation that has taken place. Very happy with our garage conversion. We were kept informed throughout the job, mess was kept to a minimum & they worked long days to get the job done. Highly recommend!
