Am writing this as Gary, Craig and Tom pack their last few things up to leave. Such a great team to have working on your project. They've done a brilliant job landscaping our garden, and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality of what they've done. Great attention to detail and all at a very reasonable cost compared to the other teams we asked to quote for the work. When we do more work on the house and garden well definitely be calling on them again. Would highly recommend.

With over 20 years in the industry, primarily working with tier-one contractors as a Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager, I’ve seen just about everything—good, bad, and “please don’t ever let that happen again.” Over the years, I’ve brought Maidan onto several projects and I can say without hesitation that their trades and labour are among the best I’ve encountered. Finding skilled, reliable, and genuinely honest operatives these days can feel like searching for a unicorn—but Maidan seem to have a whole stable of them. The quality of their workmanship is consistently exceptional, to the point where I often find myself in a friendly tug-of-war trying to secure them for my projects. If you manage to get them on site, consider yourself fortunate. Their brickwork and plastering is simply outstanding—the finest I’ve seen in two decades and I don’t say that lightly I'm very difficult to impress.

Can’t recommend Gary and his team (including subcontractors) highly enough. We’ve had leaks through the front door for years and have tried to fix it in various ways. A neighbour recommended Gary and he came round very promptly, gave us a comprehensive and very reasonable quote to fit a drain, repair our balcony roof and replace our front door. His communication is unbelievably prompt (he responds to emails even at 8pm when he should be relaxing!), his team are immensely polite, friendly, hard working, professional and thorough and the end result is fabulous. There is literally nothing negative to say and I just wish we’d known about him years ago.

I sought Gary’s help after seeing a house he’d previously built. I needed someone to project manage a complete house and garage renovation for a vulnerable friend of mine. My friend was totally overwhelmed by the situation and Gary was sensitive to this and was happy to work with me in order to fulfil my friend’s wishes. Gary handled the whole thing; securing the services of the various tradesmen required and arranging for them to visit ahead of the work to discuss what needed doing. This was done quietly and at a pace my friend was comfortable with. Gary liaised with me throughout and was always quick to respond if I contacted him. My friend stayed with me while the work was done, and we visited once during the two months to see the progress. I live over 2 hours away from my friend’s house so we couldn’t just pop in to see how things were going, but Gary sent me lots of photos of work done and the issues he encountered as they arose. No money was taken up front and we made staged payments throughout the work. Gary took care of paying the other tradesmen involved making things simpler for us. We were advised of the various costs as they arose. We considered all the costs to be very reasonable. I can’t praise Gary, Craig and Tom highly enough. They were all so kind, and Craig and Tom even helped us to clear the house of rubbish and move boxes into storage which was not part of their remit. Since the work has finished they’ve been back to do little jobs like hanging pictures etc. It was touching to see the pride they all took in the job they’d done, and the delight they exhibited at our reaction when I brought my friend back to his house to see the finished work. The house looked stunning and the work was done to a very high standard. I’m now reassured that as maintenance is required on my friend’s house over future years I can call Gary to arrange for these little jobs to be taken care of. I’m so glad that I found Gary and I’ve frequently stated that we ‘fell on our feet’ when we found Maidanbuild!

Maindanbuild were professional, competent and friendly throughout the entire project. They are highly skilled, polite, friendly and genuinely nice to have around the house! They show up when they say they will, and keep you updated on progress. Any subcontractors they brought in to do specialist work were vetted by Gary and equally competent and pleasant. We are over the moon with the job they did and highly recommend them. If we ever do anything else requiring contractors we wouldn't think twice before choosing them again.

Craig, Gary & Tom are a brilliant team. There work is an amazing standard and work efficiently and with absolute professionalism. We used Maidanbuild to rebuild our home on land we purchased and they have created our dream home. The quality of the build is exceptional and would highly recommend.
