This company really go the extra mile for their customers the kitchen they have just fitted is superb. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted, then Richard advised that perhaps it might look better this way etc .... Suffice to say he was right.! Nothing was a problem for Richard and Joe. If they say they are going to turn up at a certain time they would be there and at the end of the day everything was hoovered and left spotless. I only wished I knew about this company when I had my bathroom done.several years ago.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new Ensuite which has recently been installed by R S Aston. From our first meeting with Richard we were impressed by his knowledge and expertise. He provided us with invaluable help as well as guidance through various options before and during the refit. He provided clear and detailed estimates and invoices. Richard and Joe's workmanship was first class, with an eye for detail. Joe worked a long day everyday, always on time, friendly and polite, and always left the area clean and tidy, vacuuming the area and stairway every single night. Richard and Joe did a complete bathroom renovation for us. Richard spent a lot of time with me going through things to consider before they were appointed to do the work, which was so helpful. The quote was very detailed, which again his helpful in planning your finances. The quality of work was excellent. Joe did long days working to get the project completed as soon as possible. They were very clean working in the house. Richard went the extra mile to make our lives as easy as possible. Would highly recommend.

RS Aston have been in business for almost 70 years - and their experience shows. Richard (“says what they’ll do and does what they say”) Aston is a highly conscientious individual. From the initial meeting with Richard I had confidence in the complete en-suite refurbishment. His advice was invaluable. He produced a detailed quote and stage payment invoices throughout. The job was efficiently project managed with the other trades, leading to seamless progress throughout. Joe turned up on time every day and worked a full day. He is a perfectionist and was meticulous and punctilious in his approach to every aspect of the venture. At the end of each working day, the working areas were vacuumed and left clean and tidy. The finished job is immaculate. I would have no hesitation in recommending RS Aston.

I would absolutely recommend Richard and team. We wanted a bathroom refit in our Victorian house with some additional works to adjoining rooms including radiators and electrics. From previous experience we suspected that this would reveal structural problems. From the beginning Richard worked with us, listened to our concerns and provided detailed quotes. Once work started and revealed the expected issues he explained the problems and our options clearly and honestly so we could make decisions. Work was done to a very high standard, excellent attention to the details, and while keeping the house as clean and tidy as possible! The team were no problem to have around, strongly recommend.

We recently had a new kitchen fitted by RS Aston Builders. We were anxious about having such a big job done as there always seems to be some issues with the house! However, Richard, Joe and Tom were so professional, and nothing seemed to be a problem. Richard spent a long time going through all the options with us when we were designing and choosing our kitchen. He was always quick with responses if I emailed him any queries and gave such great advice when we were considering options. The quote that Richard sent me was very detailed which was great to see and make any changes required. When the work started Richard, Joe and Tom were so considerate of our working from home. There were some issues with the house along the way, but Richard made me feel confident in their work and they sorted any problems out seamlessly. At the end of each day they cleared, cleaned and tidied the area in which they were working. Richard sent interim, detailed invoices along the way which we really appreciated. The detail to the work that they have carried out is amazing. We are so pleased with our kitchen – it’s the best room in the house now! As well as being so professional, Richard, Joe and Tom are so friendly – I’ll miss them!

We chose Richard because he did a larger kitchen refurbishment for our daughter in a house built in 1906 and we were very impressed with his workmanship and attention to detail. Richard and team did a marvellous job refitting 2 bathrooms and a kitchen which was not in any way straightforward in a 1930's house. They always arrived punctually and kept us updated on progress. They helped us to choose what appliances would fit to maximise space and had very helpful suggestions. Richard coordinated the electrician, plumber, plasterer and flooring specialist and masterminded the project from start to finish. The only problem after completion was due to a faulty part which was a manufacturer's fault and twice Richard's team came next day to replace it. I would have no hesitation in recommending Richard to anyone wanting work done.
