Simply Loft

I did a large loft conversion and changed a bedroom to an ensuite on the first floor. Simply were very good and i would recommend them. There was a bit of back and forth with the engineer who made a mistake (i dont think simply employed them) but it was resolved in due course. The contractor used, Armando and imparticuarly Sefa, were quite extrodinary. The quality of finish is outstanding and they went above and beyond. At the house everyday at 8am without fail, and often left well past 6pm. Sefa once waited until 7pm as we weren't in as he didnt recognise our cleaner and wanted to make sure we were home before he left. They gave good advice throughout the build. Simply managed it effectively and were well priced for London. The build took longer than expected but thats building work for you. Thank you Simply, Armando and Sefa. Rony who works for Sefa was also an exceptional worksman.

We used Simply for our Mansard loft conversion in West London. Due to Council (freeholder issues) after paying the deposit it was 2.5 years until building could begin. This is really one of the benefits with going with a company like Simply, the deposit was held and despite the unforeseen delay (which was no faults of Simply) Simply were ready to start work a week after we had teh final paperwork and approval. From the start Christian was great at representing the company, planning went through with no issue and communication from the simply team was consistent. But I must say the builder we had Armando was superb. Super customer focussed and always giviing us what we wanted. The finish is superb and has completely transformed our place. The main aspects of the build was only around 10 weeks. During the build during parts my wife and I along with a 9 month old were there and I thought Armando's build team were so respectful and lovely to my family. Thanks Simply and Armando the space has really changed our lives and we are loving living in it.

Had a great experience with Ben Warren and team for a hip to gable loft conversion. He and his team worked quickly but to a high standard. Couldn't be happier with the quality of work and our experience, wouldn't hesitate to recommend

We used Simply for our loft conversion and renovation of our house in SE London. Christian was our surveyor and he was incredibly useful throughout the process - providing us with multiple cost estimates before the official quote. The process with our architect Sigrid was already very professional and seamless, giving us multiple options to consider. Finally, the assigned contractor for us was Aurel and his team who were great throughout the process - the build took roughly 5 months which were very happy with considering how much work we had done. Would definitely recommend

Completed a wrap around rear extension with Simply and had a great experience. They weren’t the cheapest quote but the contractors (Made by Metos) were excellent. Igli and the team helped us through key decisions, planned ahead, communicated well and delivered to a high quality. Really happy with our new space.

I engaged Simply to build a mansard loft. From the outset they were very helpful and competitive on price. However once the bid was confirmed the build experience was a different matter. First off the architect who drew up the plans for planning miscalculated twice and thus was refused planing twice, also don’t expect a consultation to discuss design etc, he had no vision. What i wasn’t aware of is Simply tender out the building work itself to external companies, i was initially assigned one who didn’t reach out and then given a second firm who were able to commence straight away. However 2 weeks into the build they downed tools for the whole of August for holidays. When the build began again it gained momentum and eventually 5 months! later it was complete. However extensive leaks to the roof and windows revealed the company had cut corners and to Simplys own admission it was shody work. The loft is now water tight, however from the street you can see how awful the brickwork is and the final fit. I had to get senior managers involved from Simply with assurances the loft was fit for purpose. I found their communication terrible at stages as well as the builders I wouldn’t recommend Simply, or at least i would really interrogate the builders they contract for the project. Hoping i just had terrible luck with mine.

Simply Lofts were excellent from start to finish. The team were professional, transparent on costs, and kept to the agreed timeline. Communication was clear throughout and any questions were dealt with quickly and pragmatically. The build quality is superb and the space has completely transformed our home. I would highly recommend Simply Lofts to anyone considering a loft extension.
