AMR Building Contractors

AMR Building Contractors is a residential building contractor founded by Amir Merati. The company has over 40 years of combined construction experience and carries £5 million public liability insurance. It serves Newton Mearns, Giffnock and the Southside of Glasgow. AMR Building Contractors has completed over 100 residential and commercial projects.

Previous clients include Kaplan Real Estate, Martin and Co., Emporio Armani Glasgow and AGM Group. Emma Kelly works in customer service, and Mark Young is project manager. Services include house extensions, garage conversions, loft conversions, structural alterations and full home renovations.

Households commissioning extensions, bathrooms and warehouse fittings appear throughout the feedback for this Glasgow construction firm, with Amir named repeatedly as the person customers deal with. Several reviewers describe him and his team as their preferred choice for future work, which points to a pattern of repeat business rather than one-off jobs. A recurring theme in the accounts is conduct on site: the workforce is described as respectful of a young family, careful not to play loud music and consistent in clearing up at the end of each day.

Customers also highlight the standard of the finished result, expressing satisfaction with the space created during a lengthy extension and with a bathroom installation completed to a professional level. That experience has led at least one client to plan a kitchen as the next project, while another account covers a warehouse fit-out. Communication and behaviour across longer jobs are repeatedly mentioned as making the builders easy to have around over a project lasting several months. The pattern running through the feedback is respectful on-site behaviour, clean working practices and building work that matches what clients hoped for, with the team's conduct and the finished spaces receiving equal weight.
