Hardworking builders and good management. The quote was very reasonable. 5 star house extension and loft conversion.

Our goal was to enlarge our kitchen by extending into the side return and back of our terraced house. After reaching out to Home Shape, they promptly responded and arranged a meeting with us to discuss our ideas. We got from them a lot of guidance, which helped to refine our vision and eliminate any impractical and also some costly concepts. We were delighted with the proposed plan, and Home Shape took care of obtaining planning permission and assisted with party wall. Prior to the project commencement, we were provided with a fairly realistic timeline and budget, as well as informed about the potential for unforeseen disruptions and additional costs that could arise. We had some unforeseen work, but Home Shape is charging only the cost to cover expenses, without any profit or overhead. They offered creative solutions to construction challenges, lighting layouts, underfloor heating, and finishing work without imposing their ideas on us. Any snags during the project were addressed promptly and with a positive attitude. The team made an effort to keep the site clean at the end of each day, and their weekly site meetings kept us informed of the progress and what was to come next. Although having an extension completed is a challenging process, Home Shape and their team made it as painless as possible. We now have a spacious, well-lit kitchen that we adore. Our home was too small and we could not move with all our things and the children's stuff, school, friends etc. We were planning for a long time to add some space. Such major project was a daunting idea but once we met Tomas and Richard we were immediately put at ease that we had made the right decision. We got 4 quotes and our gut feeling was to use Home Shape. Their quote was very detailed with full price breakdown and good description. They are not the cheapest but also not expensive. Excellent workmanship, quality of work was fantastic. Tomas provided us with advice and what is best for the build mainly on design and build. He was our main point of contact and communication was very fluid and smooth. We had few issues here and there with the building inspector, but all was sorted and signed at the end. We are delighted.

We are over the moon. From start to post completion they were reliable and proffesional. They are very responsive and full of ideas. We had quite pesky building inspector from the council who requested many overengineered solutions and project manager with builders successfully countered some of them saving us a lot of trouble and money. Home Shape worked closely with us to prepare our project. Really impressed by the time and responsiveness given to answer our many questions. Peter and Tomas were very proactive, sorted any issues and implemented our constant changes during the work. All boxes checked and our extension is fabulous. We will use them again for sure. Update: we recently had a small leak in a kitchen and it took them quite long to sort it, so I deduct 1 star
