MG Construction UK

MG Construction UK is a family-run building company founded by Mike Gibbons. The company has over 40 years of experience and operates across Cheshire, Manchester, and the surrounding areas. It is Checkatrade certified. MG Construction specialises in home extensions and undertakes all aspects of building work, including conversions, renovations, and landscaping. Services include house builds, garden rooms, domestic extensions, and renovations.

MG Construction UK takes on air conditioning installation alongside general building projects, with heating and cooling systems fitted in larger spaces as well as domestic extensions. Mike heads the team, and his name runs through the feedback, frequently joined by Tom, Graham, Dan and D, who are described as helpful and willing to assist wherever needed. Several customers highlight the standard of finish, including a kitchen and utility room assembled around quartz worktops and flooring contractors, and an extension completed with considerable pride.

Reliability and punctuality recur, with one project finished on schedule and free of issues, while another account describes a rapid call-out to secure a child's swing that had broken loose from a ceiling, with Dan arriving inside the hour. Communication is repeatedly praised, particularly Mike being reachable by phone to answer questions and accommodate design changes as the work moved forward. Tidiness on site and the team's readiness to exceed expectations feature in several accounts, as does the trust placed in having the builders in the home. A stress-free process and satisfaction with the finished product are recurring themes, alongside repeat work such as a planned garden cabin.
