We were robbed!! Steve said he would do this and that and he never. Charged a huge amount of money promising he would strengthen the floor before boarding it. After having the job inspected, it all turned out he had only put some beams on top of the already existing ones and left them hanging and never supported by break walls on the sides. Despite being questioned and confronted he still kept saying his 30 years of experience would not let him do a bad job to us; calling us “his friends”. He said he had left our house feeling happy because he and his team had done a “boss job”. In our eyes, of course they were happy having received nearly £5 grant in only two days work. Work badly done. We were left extremely disappointed having paid all that money for a job that we could have done ourselves buying materials from around the conner in B&Q. Do not trust!! You will be robbed too.

Great job, excellent value for money and already recommended to friends.Loft conversion carried out in July in less than 2 weeks with all trades running like clockwork. Personal oversight of the job by Whitty’s and very responsive to queries. Returning soon to install downstairs WC during September.

Avoid, it will be a nightmare. They left the site with unfinished job, but requested full payment. Tasks poorly executed, had to call another builder to remove everything and start from zero. Materials and parts disappeared mysteriously. 1 week job needed 2 months and was left unfinished. They will cut costs and corner, despite promising the best ever job, they only want your money. Can't be trusted.
