What customers say
Based on genuine customer reviews
Use The Loft in Manchester holds a 4.7-star average across 47 reviews, with Chris named repeatedly for boarding lofts, fitting hatches and installing ladders, including a tricky upgraded wooden ladder job finished within a single day. Reviewers mention receiving itemised, competitive quotes and being pleasantly surprised by the price after comparing other companies.
Jobs are typically completed fast, sometimes within hours once work begins, and sites are left tidy even in wet weather. Aftercare stands out too, with Chris returning weeks later to sort a minor query at no charge, a mark of real reliability.

Fantastic service, would highly recommend. I phoned Chris as the catch had broke on our loft hatch and he sent a replacement one out the same day at no cost.
I got three quotes and I chosen Chris, his quote was the most competitive and chose the upgraded wooden ladders. All the quotes were stating that it would take anywhere from 2 to 4 days to complete, which I could not accommodate. Chris came in and worked like a Trojan and completed the job within the day. The installation of the ladders was very tricky, as he had no room for error and did a great installation. I am very happy with the completed job and now have easy access to space that I can use. I therefore, very easily would recommend Chris to anyone requiring this type of work.
Chris fitted my loft a couple of years ago and I got a brilliant price! The loft has been brilliant but the door came off last week and the ladders were not steady after someone must have gone up them without locking into place. I messaged Chris and he arranged to come and look at it. He fitted the door back on and secured the ladders for me. Very reliable and would recommend him to anyone in future!
Found Chris through recommendations on a local Facebook group. Can confirm he is as good as they say! Sorted my replacement loft hatch in next to no time, great service. Will be recommending to anyone looking for anything loft.
Superb service from start to to finish. So glad we found Chris for this. Called round to quote and fitted us in to complete the job within a week. All completed in super quick time and tidied everything up and left everything clean with floor coverings even on a ridiculously wet day. Widened and new hatch with ladder and light means we can use the space. Thanks so much Chris - great service all round, can't recommend them enough
Multiple neighbours recommended Chris to do our loft. Response was fast and he came today ready to work with another team member, they both have worked quickly and clean. Great work and very happy with the result. Thank you.
We are very pleased with our additional loft space. All completed in one morning. Chris also did some adjustments to my kitchen storage doors which allowed us to put in a new appliance. Top man Chris! Thanks Julie and Steve
