Up-Great Ltd Builders I Refurbishment and Extensions

Ernest came over to Kingston Rowing Club as we needed trusted tradesmen to do a complete refurbishment of our Kitchen and Bar area. The two rooms had not been touched in over 40 years so it was high time to strip the areas back to the bear bones and start from the beginning with plumbing and electrics through to hygene improvements in the finishing and materials chosen. We felt in complete control at all times. Ernest was on site everyday to ensure everything ran smoothly and the project with some major alterations went to plan. We were able to keep costs under control and on budget which was extremely important while achieving a significan improvement in the functionality, floor plan, up-cycling and compliance of the two spaces. I can not recommend Up-Great highly enough, from start to finish it was a pleasure to have the team at the club and we'll miss them now they have gone.

Ernest and the team did a fantastic side return, full kitchen and garden renovation over the summer on our Victorian Terrace in St.Margarets. They were impeccable - no nonsense, honest and hard working. Ernest advised throughout the build to ensure every detail was considered and taken care of - he made sure I was aware of all the associated impacts as we talked through key choices. The team handled all sorts of surprises and nothing defeated them - even when I offered a compromise, Ernest held his standards and found a way of overcoming issues, which I’m very grateful for. They will be used for our next project, without a doubt.

Ernest and his team did a full house renovation for us in 2025, including a loft conversion, side-return extension and front and back patio.
