Whitty's Lofts

Ste and his lads boarded our loft this morning! Done within 2.5 hours. No mess at all. Light & ladder also installed! Great work lads!

Sorry but I have to address the elephant review in the room: I’ve had Steve and his merry band of workers in my house on two occasions: 1. Loft conversion- done amazingly to standard and went with his vision. This couldn’t have gone any better because we were consulted through out, work was done impeccably and to this day friends and family still awe at the difference. I was cheeky enough to ask for the small bedroom to be converted into an office which was included and any extras were happily taken care of. 2. Recently 1 x Bathroom, 1 x Livingroom, 1 x Garden + extras (sensing a theme here?) Seperate toilet and Bathroom knocked through and made into one with amazing work tiling, lovely extras that we would never have thought of and a massive happy family. Garden converted from derelict to a mini anfield for the kids and boss patio and seating areas. Living room ok basically a whole new downstairs flooring, media wall, plastering box coving, stud wall, kitchen plastering, radiators, light fitting, tv fitted etc. Staircase ripped out with new glass, fitting and everything….it looks amazing!!! In summary there is NO ONE that will EVER touch my house again other than Steve. There are plans for a new drive to be done and yes NOBODY will be asked to do it other than Steve. He has the foresight to notice things that would make your house ‘pop’ that you never thought was possible. Sound crew, great people, grafters #amazingwhittyslofts Honest as they come!!! We were robbed!! Steve said he would do this and that and he never. Charged a huge amount of money promising he would strengthen the floor before boarding it. After having the job inspected, it all turned out he had only put some beams on top of the already existing ones and left them hanging and never supported by break walls on the sides. Despite being questioned and confronted he still kept saying his 30 years of experience would not let him do a bad job to us; calling us “his friends”. He said he had left our house feeling happy because he and his team had done a “boss job”. In our eyes, of course they were happy having received nearly £5 grant in only two days work. Work badly done. We were left extremely disappointed having paid all that money for a job that we could have done ourselves buying materials from around the conner in B&Q. Do not trust!! You will be robbed too.

Just had a loft conversion done in my house for a bedroom for my son and I couldn't be happier with it. Not only did they do an amazing job but they are also very clean and tidy which I didn't expect because building work is always messy and it's something I dread 🙈 but I didn't have to worry about anything like that. Love the fact that you can have a laff with them also. My kids loved them and said they was really funny and didn't want to go to school when they was in my house doing the work haha. My son even asked me would he see them men again after the loft is done 😄 well it's safe to say he will see them again because from now on anything I need doing in my house I will be asking them before I ask anyone else 😄 I would highly recommend whittys lofts to everyone. Thank you so much to all of you for the amazing job use all did and also a good laff 😄 nobody likes getting a builder in they don't know because you are worried incase the job isn't good enough but from the day ste come to my house to look at my loft I new I wanted them to do the job. I can't really say that about many builders. I didn't even have to pay them anything till the job was half done so when the job was half done I give them some money and I didn't give them the rest until it was finished. great gang of lads ,hard working, spotless I would recommend them to anybody done all my building work around the house my house dosent look the same it’s great if you was to get your loft done I would highly choose these for any building work not just lofts ,thank you again
